RESOLUTION #061102-1 – Brant Town Park Development Project

 

            At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Brant, Erie County, New York, held at the Brant Town Hall, Brant North Collins Road, Brant, New York, in said town on the 11th day of June, 2002 at 8:00 p.m. there were present:

 

            Samuel J. Chiavetta Jr.                                   Supervisor

            Dennis Rubeck                                                Councilman

            Martin Rosiek                                                 Councilman

            Eugene Czyz, Sr.                                            Councilman

 

ABSENT:  Ellen Bowman, Councilwoman

           

WHEREAS, Councilman Rubeck made a motion to authorize and direct the Supervisor of the Town of Brant to file an application for funds from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and

 

WHEREAS, Councilman Czyz seconded the motion and a roll call vote was taken, the Town of Brant did

 

RESOLVE that Samuel J. Chiavetta, Jr., as Supervisor of the Town of Brant is hereby authorized and directed to file an application for funds from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in accordance with the provisions of Title 9 of the Environmental Protection Act of 1993 or Title 3 of the Clean Water/Clean Air Bond Act of 1996, and in an amount not to exceed $70,000, and upon approval of said request to enter into and execute a project agreement with the State for such financial assistance to this Town of Brant for the Brant Town Park Development Project.

 

I, JAMIE S. NOLAN, Town Clerk of the Town of Brant, County of Erie, New York DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a full and true transcript of a resolution duly adopted at a regular meeting of the Town Board held in Brant, New York on the 11th day of June 2002, as it appears in the minutes of said meeting and that said meeting was a regular meeting called and constituted and that a quorum was present.
