Land owners interested in agricultural assessment may also be interested in enrolling an agricultural district at this time (11/1/12 to 11/30/12).  You may request the inclusion of predominantly viable agricultural land into a certified agricultural district in accordance with Section 303-b of New York State Ag & Mkt law.
