Minutes of the Meeting of the Brant Town Board which was held on Thursday October 3rd, 2008 at 7:00 PM, 1294 Brant North Collins Rd, Brant, New York at the Brant Town Hall.


ATTENDANCE: 
Supervisor Leonard Pero, Councilman Vincent Fullone, Councilman Daniel Kujawinski, 
Thea Ells Town Clerk, John Grennell, Town Attorney 
Attendance: 
Pledge to the Flag: Meeting called to order by Supervisor Pero.
Clerk verified that this meeting was posted at the Town Hall, Brant Post Office, the SUN notified and legal notice and Town web site.
Supervisor Pero reviewed the following items with the board members: 
Presented the tentative budget to the board members and verified that the board would be meeting at @ 6:30 before the next meeting on October 14th.  The board will then make adjustments to the tentative. Board members did not receive a 5 year worksheet yet, Pero will get from accountant. There was discussion concerning the tentative budget being available to the public ? Pero states not to be available ? clerk Ells states it is.  
Supervisor Pero reported some highlights in the tentative budget and asked members to consider the following items for the next meeting Tuesday: Refuse increase, Street lighting, increase in court clerk hours, increase in highway due to fuel costs, same in police, and discussed fire contracts.  Discussion on total figures of salaries which include benefits to employees. Clerk Ells to copy current asset inventory list for Kujawinski and Fullone. 

Councilman Fullone moved for the adoption of 291, seconded by Councilman Kujawinski 3 Ayes   Pero, Fullone, and Kujawinski    0 Nays
ADOPTED: TO ADJOURN THE OCTOBER 3rd TOWN BOARD WORKSHOP AT 8:15 PM
