Minutes of special meeting called for Police Dept issues of the Brant Town Board which was held on Wednesday July 18th, 2007 at 7:00 PM, 1294 Brant North Collins Road, Brant, New York at the Brant Town Hall.

The meeting was opened at 7:00 PM with a pledge to the flag led by Supervisor Pero, and called to order.

Town Clerk, Thea Ells verifies that the meeting which was called for on Wednesday July 11th by Supervisor Pero, was posted on the Town Clerks Notice Board at the Town Hall and by the following advertisement in the Town Crier July 18th edition and the media was duly notified of the meeting: NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE BRANT TOWN BOARD: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Brant Town Board is holding a Special Meeting Wednesday July 18, 2007, at 7:00 PM, this Meeting is open to the public and is being held at the Brant Town Hall, 1294 Brant North Collins Rd., Brant, N.Y. Councilman Chiavetta moved for the adoption of resolution 153-07, seconded by Councilman Arrigo 5 Ayes   Pero, Arrigo, Gier, Turner, Chiavetta     0 Nays
ADOPTED: FOR THE TOWN BOARD TO CLOSE EXECUTIVE SESSION @ 9:00 PM 

Councilwoman Turner moved for the adoption of resolution #071807-154 seconded by Councilman Chiavetta A roll call vote was taken: 5 Ayes   0 Nays

Supervisor Pero made the following statement: The position of Police Chief remains vacant pursuant to further action by the Town Board.
